Join us for the first-ever Sacred Heart Parish Block Party on Saturday, September 30th from 11am-4pm!

Presented by the Sacred Heart Parish Capital Campaign: "Our Time, Our Community, Our Future", the Block Party will feature inspirational talks by Catholic speakers: Karlo Broussard, Fr. Ray McDaniel and Jeff Schiefelbein.

The Block Party will be stacked with other entertainment including a chili cook-off competition, kids games, inflatable slide, cornhole, music and more. Don't miss out on the complimentary biergarten, chili tastings, burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and kettlecorn. Tables will be provided for seating; however, attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. 

Event Speakers: 

- Karlo Broussard: Catholic apologist and national speaker for Catholic Answers specializing in talks on apologetics, biblical studies, theology and philosophy

- Fr. Ray McDaniel: Renowned pastor of the Diocese of Fort Worth. Ordained in 2007, Fr. Ray is the current pastor of St. Philip the Apostle Parish in Flower Mound and previously served at Sacred Heart Parish in Wichita Falls, St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Megargel, Sacred Heart Parish in Seymour and St. Peter's Parish in Lindsay

- Jeff Schiefelbein: Co-founder of Undivided Life, with managing partner Nick Bezner. Schiefelbein is a culture expert and nationally recognized motivational speaker with a passion for human formation and innovation

This event is FREE and open to the public. Donations and pledges will be graciously accepted and go to fund the Sacred Heart Parish Capital Campaign.
